I'm obsessed!

I'm obsessed! Been rocking a red lip like crazy! Nars lipstick in Dragon Girl....lasts forever! Been wearing my costume gold earrings a ton....so fun to jingle!
Went to a Crèche Festival and saw a display of hundreds of Nativities and a collection of over 1,200 Madonna and Child portraits. It was breath taking.
Saw a window display with an awesome necklace that had little figures of Karl Lagerfeld, Isabela Blow, and Grace Coddington adorning it.
Been packing. We are moving to Houston this week and I have so much to do! What does my book collection say about me?

Holiday Dressing: How to work that LBD overtime!

Holiday Dressing: How To Work That LBD Overtime

Make your LBD (Little Black Dress) work overtime this Holiday Season.

Go flashy and embrace the sparkle with sequins, glitter and rhinestones!

Go girlie with pearls and pink!

Go glam with gold statement accessories, red high heels, and a slick of sultry lipstick!

Turn heads and save money by restyling your LBD for everything from the Office Party to New Years Eve dancing the night away!

Enjoy!

Movie Monday: Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows

Today's Movie Monday is inspired by the movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows and the character Madam Simza Heron played by Noomi Rapace. She is a Romni Gypsy Fortune Teller who Sherlock teams up and with and saves.

Her wardrobe is so cool! The mix of fabrics, textures, and piles of jewelry gives such a depth to her look. Take a page out of the Gypsy way of combining different cultures, fashions, and pieces, whether from necessity or personal expression. I love the rich fabrics such as silk and velvet enriched with embroidery, coins, and leather. Wild hair and kohl rimed eyes, fingers bedecked with rings and the clinking of bangles piled on the wrists. Gypsies were such rock stars!

Enjoy!
