Gorgeous dresses and the moods they invoke
We all love ourselves some gorgeous wedding dresses. These make such beautiful statements and evoke different moods. Enjoy:0)

This dress is a very classic shape and design, but also very stylized. I picture a retro glam wedding. Very crisp, very formal, but with quirky accents. Like black and white with a pop of color, or lots of silvers and grey tones and fine bone china.
I love this dress. I love the fluidity of it. I picture a beautiful garden wedding with flowers over flowing from arches and tables draped in vibrant richly hued silks.
These dresses are so fairy tale. I picture a forrest wedding. Trees wrapped in white lights, with swags of airy white fabric draped between trees, creating gossamer tents. Crystals and flowers draped from tree branches, sparkling in the lights, and filling the air with a sweet fragrance.

*le sigh* Florence/Prato
It's hard to believe that it has been 6 years since I lived and loved in Florence/Prato, Italy. I was 21 and it was a life changing experience. I studied at Fashion Art Italy
It was the beginning of my foray into fashion, and I studied fashion design and merchandising. The class was comprised of 5 students total, and was very hands on. Serenella Fumanti teaches the courses and is a blast to learn from. We learned how to create a collection, and so much more. We were able to attend trend/fabric/fashion fairs, and went on many day trips to museums and inspirational locations.
I loved being in Italy and being surrounded by the rich history and romance of it all. I did fall in love while I was there. His name was Giovanni Franzese, or Gio as I called him. He was sweet, shy, and adored me. We met at a party in a house out in the mountains. We talked forever, and then snuggled through the night, as everyone slept off their drunkedness in various rooms. After that night we became inseparable. It was a whirl wind romance. He taught me what it meant to love and be loved. It was my first adult relationship. I remember meeting up during lunch break and running around Prato just goofing off, holding hands and kissing non stop. I remember calling my parents freaking out because I was scared of how intensely I felt for him, asking them what certain feelings meant. lol
I miss running around Florence and Prato with my friends, checking out the sites, meeting people at pubs, and dancing at the night clubs till 5 am. It was amazing.
Here are some pics of Florence and Prato, and of me and friends. Hope you enjoy :0)

Florence Skyline
The Duomo of Prato; Gio lived just across the piazza (square) from the Duomo. His bedroom window actually overlooked the fountain and Duomo.
Me and Gio on my last night in Italy. Drinking one of the yummie fruit smoothies the bartender Leo would make for me.
Me and my Kosovo Boys at the Lion's Head Pub in Florence that I would go to a lot. It was pretty funny conversing, because they didn't speak really any english, and very little italian, and I spoke very little italian, and I definitely didn't speak ship (the native kosovian language) (don't know if that's how you spell it. lol) So our conversations were very basic, and had a lot of had gestures :0P
From left - Mario, me, Sascha, and Ardit (I had a HUGE crush on Sascha, and Ardit had a HUGE crush on me...lol.)
Billie and Me. Billie and I met at The Lion's Head Pub. She was afraid some guys were harassing me and so she invited me to sit with her and her friends. She was there for study abroad with her university. We became instant friends and got together as often as possible. I wish I still was in touch with her.
Me and Leo. He was the bartender at the local pub my roomies/class mates and I would frequent. He always made me really delicious smoothies (since I don't drink) and he was a lot of fun to talk with. Thanks to Facebook, I still am in touch with him. :0)

Dream Guy of the Week
Gabriel Macht came most notably to my attention in the movie, Because I Said So with Mandy Moore and Diane Keaton. He plays Johnnie, a charming, sweet, sincere, quirky musician and single dad, who romances Mandy Moore's character Millie. He balances out her erratic, hair brained, spastic side, and calms her. He lets her be herself, and he loves her for it.
In real life he is married to model/actress/Real World London alum, Jacinda Barrett, and is a dad. He seems like a really down to earth, genuine, nice guy. And being a good dad and husband only makes him all the more sexy. I have been known to say that if Johnnie were real, he'd be my perfect guy.
That smile, those eyes, boyish good looks, lovely hands....YUMMIE!!
Enjoy :0)

Oh the jealousy!!
So after posting the first Guy of the Week, Matthew Gray Gubler, I find out that my friend got to meet him. AGH!!! I was so jealous. She and her boyfriend saw and chatted with Matthew at the Starbucks in the Barnes & Noble located at the Grove shopping center in L.A. (Which was a double, dang!!, because she and I used to frequent that very B&N when I lived there, so close, yet so far!) She confirmed my inkling that Matthew is a complete dear. He was surprised and delighted that her boyfriend recognized him, and took a picture with my friends boyfriend. She also confirmed that he is indeed GORGEOUS in person, and has a smile that truly is breathe taking. (I noticed ;0P)
It got me to thinking what I would have said if I had met him. I would have probably suggested Vegas and marriage...lol...and a future with beautiful babies :0)
I also would have bonded with him over our shared love of Halloween.

BARBIE!!!
So I was at WalMart the other day whilst my oil was being changed, and I happened to wander down the Barbie aisle (as I often do). And saw some re-issued Barbies. They had the original Barbie in her b/w swimsuit and ponytailed glory, and several popular Barbies from different eras. Well I picked up one of the boxes and turned in on the back, where a picture showed all the Barbies in the collection, and I pretty much screamed in delight when I saw that they had re-issued Barbie from Barbie and the Rockers from 1986!!! So I looked all over the shelf for her, and she was nowhere to be found. I searched the WalMart website, and again, they had all but my precious Barbie. I eventually found her on the Barbie website geared toward adults and collectors. She is $40 and comes with two outfits, and she GORGEOUS!!! Please oh please someone gift me with this wonderous Barbie....I never had her growing up....it would make the little girl in me soooo happy :0)

If I were a Spy...
If I were a Spy...
or maybe even a Bond Girl...I think I'd wear something like this. Of course I'd rock the classic red lips and smokey eyes, and have my nails painted gold with black tips. Yeah that sounds awesome to me :0)
